The Sigenergy Sigen PV 80M1-HYA is an 80 kW hybrid inverter for grid-connected PV systems, with battery-ready functionality for PV + ESS expansion. It supports multi-MPPT operation and outdoor installation with IP66 protection.
Nominal active power output of 80,000 W with up to 88,000 VA apparent power.
Specified as battery ready, allowing later upgrade to a PV + ESS system using SigenStack BAT 12.0 modules.
Six MPPTs with two PV strings per MPPT, supporting flexible array design.
Includes DC reverse polarity protection, insulation monitoring, residual current monitoring, AFCI, anti-islanding, and Type II DC/AC surge protection.
IP66-rated enclosure supports outdoor use where the installation environment requires protection against dust and water ingress.
80 kW nominal output, 88,000 VA maximum apparent power, 380/400/480 Vac three-phase output, 50/60 Hz grid frequency, power factor 0.8 leading to 0.8 lagging. PV input: up to 160,000 Wp, 1,100 V maximum DC input, 160–1,000 V MPPT range, 6 MPPTs, 2 strings per MPPT, 32 A maximum input current per MPPT. Efficiency: 98.6% maximum at 380/400 Vac and 98.8% maximum at 480 Vac.
PV connection type is MC4, maximum 6 mm². AC connection type is OT/DT terminal, maximum 240 mm². Multiple units can be connected in parallel and no data logger is required. Instant PV reverse connection alert is stated to help confirm correct installation.
Maximum efficiency is 98.6% at 380/400 Vac and 98.8% at 480 Vac. European efficiency is 98.3% at 380/400 Vac and 98.4% at 480 Vac. Nighttime power consumption is below 3.5 W.
