The SolarEdge S1200 is a module-level power optimiser for SolarEdge PV systems, used to maximise DC energy harvest at module level and support string design on three-phase grid-tied solar installations. This long input variant includes extended input cable length for installation flexibility.
Provides module-level maximum power point tracking with stated maximum efficiency of 99.5% and weighted efficiency of 98.8%.
Rated input DC power of 1200 W, with maximum input voltage of 125 Vdc and maximum connected module short-circuit current of 15 Adc.
SafeDC reduces DC voltage to touch-safe levels upon grid or inverter shutdown.
Sense Connect supports continuous monitoring to help detect overheating associated with installation issues or connector wear.
IP68 / NEMA 6P enclosure rating for outdoor PV installations exposed to dust and water.
SolarEdge S1200 power optimiser with 1200 W rated input DC power, 125 Vdc maximum input voltage, 12.5–105 Vdc MPPT range and 15 Adc maximum module short-circuit current. Maximum output current is 20 Adc and maximum output voltage is 80 Vdc. The unit has MC4 input and output connectors, long input cable length of 1.6 m, output leads of (+) 5.3 m and (-) 0.10 m, IP68 / NEMA 6P protection, operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C, and maximum system voltage of 1000 Vdc.
S1200 must not be mixed with any other power optimiser in the same string. Compatible with SolarEdge commercial three-phase inverters. For inverters with Rapid Shutdown support, each string must contain fewer than 28 power optimisers to meet NEC Rapid Shutdown requirements. For use with SE33.3K, Fixed String Voltage must be changed from 750Vdc to 850Vdc in SolarEdge SetApp. Long input cable length for this variant is 1.6 m.
Maximum efficiency is 99.5% and weighted efficiency is 98.8%. Module-level MPPT is stated, and the datasheet notes up to 2x longer string lengths with reduced cabling, fuses and combiner boxes.
