The Victron SmartShunt IP65 is an all-in-one 300A battery monitor for DC battery systems, with IP65 protection and no separate display. It is monitored via VictronConnect on a phone or tablet, or via a GX device using VE.Direct.
Measures battery data in a single unit without a dedicated display.
Connects to a phone or tablet for local monitoring through the VictronConnect app.
Can be read by a GX device via VE.Direct for system integration.
Suitable for use where a water-resistant battery monitor is required.
Aux connection can be used for a second battery, midpoint monitoring, or an optional temperature sensor.
300A variant of the SmartShunt IP65 battery monitor. Supply voltage range 6.5-70 VDC. Current draw < 1 mA. Battery capacity range 1-9999 Ah. Operating temperature range -40 to +50 °C. IP65 protection category. Current measurement accuracy ±0.4%, voltage measurement accuracy ±0.3%. Dimensions 44 x 120 x 38 mm. Shunt connection bolts M8.
Connection to the SmartShunt is made via VE.Direct cable. A GX device requires a separate VE.Direct cable, not included. Supplied cables include two 1.5 m cables with 1 A fuse for the '+' connection and starter battery or midpoint connection. Optional temperature sensor: ASS000100000. Bluetooth range can be affected by the shunt, cables, metal chassis, or seawater.
Current draw is less than 1 mA.
